When your phone is properly seated in the KOALA harness, it should feel snug with no side-to-side play. The silicone grips the sides and back of your phone firmly.
A quick test: hold the harness upside down and give it a gentle shake. If the phone stays put, you're good to go. If it feels loose, check that the harness is fully stretched around the phone's width.
